Mies van der Rohe Awards at Queens

The exhibition of this years Mies van der Rohe Award winning buildings has opened in the design studio at Chlorine Gardens Queens.  Named after German-American architect Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, the biennial award is the most prestigious accolade in European architecture and is awarded to a building completed in the last two years by a European architect.  The shortlist this year includes our Professor Michael McGarry with a school by his practice McGarry Ni Eanaigh Architects.
