Dr Gehan Selim presented a paper at the Young Divercities seminar ‘Encountering and Living with Hyper-Diversity: Young People’s Urban Experiences’ held in Utrecht, Netherlands, during November 2015. Dr Selim’s paper examines the impact of territoriality on young people’s everyday experiences in Northern Ireland’s segregated communities and how social identity is theorized and redefined in response to segregation.
