We are pleased Dr Rachel O’Grady has accepted a fractional position within Architecture at Queen’s.
She has been a design tutor at QUB since 2015, and is the co-founder of OGU Architects: a research-led practice whose portfolio includes educational buildings, residential projects and urban place-making. Dr O’Grady has also worked for Wright & Wright Architects, and Penoyre & Prasad Architects, specialising in the design of schools for students with special education needs. Rachel is working on a long-running conservation project in Agra, North India, with the Centre for Urban and Regional Excellence, New Delhi. This has grown out of her PhD research, which was based around live conservation projects that explored collaborative methods of architectural making.
Rachel is delighted to join QUB, and is looking forward to contributing her expertise to the school’s research and teaching agendas.
